Getting around in Danang

Although the city is rapidly expanding, most places of interest are still located at the city centre, which is easily explored on foot. Danang’s public transport system features only a few city buses. Riding the bus could be really uncomfortable for foreigners, because of the great crowds squeezing in each vehicle.

Therefore most visitors choose to move around by taxi; taxis in Danang, and Vietnam in general, are quite inexpensive; make sure that you flag down a meter taxi (they are usually newer) and that the driver turns the meter on. Cycling is a fun and easy way to work your way around the city.
