Within this small port-city, one can walk to any place, keeping in mind the up- and downhill terrain. As long as you are not stopped by a police officer or a guard, you are allowed to walk anywhere. However, trams and trolley buses operate in Vladivostok.

You can hop into any bus and pay as you exit. Buses are frequent and smaller, so you are not stranded at any time. Best time to visit is September and October.
