Introductions to Horsens

Horsens is a small Danish city in the eastern part of Jutland. This city, with a population of nearly 60,000 people, was a settlement during the Viking age and called Horsnes settlement, likely referring to the breeding of a large number of horses in this locality.

Located at an end of a lush green Danish knoll amidst forests that stretch all the way down to the water, Horsens is located at the end of a beautiful fjord and is visible from the harbor. It takes around 30 minutes by bus Aarhus from Copenhagen. Billund airport is the closest airport.
