Getting around in Trinidad

It is not for nothing that Trinidad is named the “City of Motorcycles” though this term could equally apply to most Bolivian cities where the motor cycle is the most common type of transport.

In Trinidad they are the most useful way of getting around town, and whether it is day or nighttime the streets are full of motorcycles with many of the locals seemingly enjoying simply whizzing around the Plaza as some form of mobile pastime.

If you opt to rent a motorcycle then it will cost about $10 for the entire day and they can be readily rented at Alquiler de Motos. Moto-Taxis are another way of getting around the town charging US$ 0.25, regular car taxis are available but very expensive, but if you need a cab simply contact the Radio Taxi Progresso Beniano.
